Michelle Bangiyev, OD

Dr. Bangiyev received her training and doctorate from the SUNY College of Optometry. Since then, she has treated and managed refractive conditions, dry eye, glaucoma, and diseases of the retina, as well as co-managed surgical cases

During her graduate studies she was President of the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association, a member of the American Optometric Association, and the New York State Optometic Association.

She was trained extensively in advanced eye care, having undergone rotations through Woodhull, Bellevue, and NYU hospitals. She is passionate about preventative and comprehensive ocular examinations for patients of all ages, specifically the prophylactic treatment of nearsightedness using eye drops and contact lenses.

Dr. Bangiyev is fluent in English, Russian, and Spanish and is currently accepting new patients.
